| NSTP Yesterday we had our NSTP fieldwork, we did tree planting at Tanay, Rizal. I could say it was one of the best experience i've had so far :) Eventhough it was really TIRING. And i mean REALLY TIRING, it was FUN!:) We had to hike up a really steep mountain, endure the pouring rain and fight the hunger and exhaustion we are feeling. It was really fun because we get to see ourselves slide down the muddy path several times, bathe in the river, and just bond with my blockmates :) UBE nga sabi nila :D When we were in the middle of our hike, it rained really hard. We were not ready for that weather change so all of us got soaking wet. While i was waiting for my friends (because they got left behind), i went under a tree, drained in the rain and just looked at the view. I just stared blankly and said to myself "Oh ano na, ano nang balak mo sa sarili mo?". I was literally talking to myself, thinking of what will happen to me after our breakup. I just had a deep reflection right on that spot. Perfect view, perfect timing :') When we reached the top, we planted the mahogany seedlings and left. we barely spent 15 minutes on top. Because of the rain, the path became so muddy and slippery. So going down is a real task! It was really hard trying not to slip and fall down butt first on the ground. We had lots of laugh with this experience. I think i fell down about 7 times? haha! It was really hilarious and exhausting at the same time :)) After the hike, we went to the river nearby and just bathe. The water is cold and very refreshing. It was my first time na maglaba sa batis :)) A great experience for me! :) Here are some of the pictures from our fieldwork :) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
